Description
Description
Bonjour from the banks of the Seine. This illustrated Paris travel poster art print gathers the city's greatest hits into one charming scene: the Eiffel Tower soaring above the rooftops, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame in the distance, couples lingering over café au lait and a chic local strolling along with her dog.
Everything is rendered in a warm, muted palette of beige, sage green, soft brown and dusky purple, giving it a nostalgic vintage feel. It is romantic without being twee, a slice of everyday Parisian life that works beautifully as Eiffel Tower wall art or as part of a French-themed gallery wall.
Bringing Paris home
Hang it in the living room above a reading chair and a stack of well-thumbed novels, or let it add a touch of romance to the bedroom. It is lovely in a home office too, where a glance at those café tables might just inspire a proper lunch break. Pair it with brass accents, a striped bistro cushion, fresh flowers and other vintage city prints for a look that feels effortlessly well travelled. It comes unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame, and white keeps the soft colours light and airy. A wonderful gift for Francophiles, honeymooners who said oui in Paris, couples celebrating an anniversary, language students and anyone who would happily live on croissants. Joie de vivre, no passport required.
