Description
Description
Scotland's other national drink meets its national flower. This Irn-Bru thistle quirky wall art shows a bunch of spiky purple thistles proudly blooming from a bright orange can of the famous fizzy drink, not a dainty porcelain vase in sight.
Bold orange, rich purple, fresh green and creamy beige make it a vivid, pop art take on Scottish culture with heaps of cheeky wit. It is a fun piece of Scottish wall art and an unusual botanical print all rolled into one, perfect for anyone who loves quirky illustration and a good dose of national pride.
Where to hang it
It looks brilliant in a living room as a bright talking point, or in a modern kitchen where that orange can adds a punchy pop of colour. In a bedroom or student flat it brings personality and a wee bit of home. Pair it with tartan throws, heather tones, colourful ceramics and other quirky food and floral prints for a lively, characterful look. It also makes a great centrepiece in a gallery wall celebrating all things Scottish. It comes unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame, and white makes the orange and purple look extra vivid. A cracking gift for homesick Scots, Irn-Bru devotees, Burns Night hosts, Glasgow and Edinburgh expats and anyone who appreciates art that does not take itself too seriously.
