Description
Description
Big, bold and a little bit vintage, this fish on a plate art print serves up a dramatic still life accented with zesty lemons. Inspired by classic travel posters, it combines strong lines, rich colour and dynamic brushwork, making it retro kitchen wall art that is impossible to overlook.
Blues, oranges and sunny yellows clash and sparkle across the composition, while the expressive brushstrokes give it a lively, handmade feel. It has a maximalist, bold and brash energy balanced by a nostalgic charm, like a poster from a seaside restaurant on the Amalfi coast.
Styling it
Hang it above a dining table, over the kitchen counter or in a hallway where you want a dose of personality. The landscape format works especially well above a sideboard or open shelving. Pair it with blue and white crockery, striped tablecloths, olive oil bottles and other food prints for a Mediterranean or farmhouse kitchen. It comes unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame.
This makes a fab gift for food lovers, fishing enthusiasts, art collectors and anyone who loves eclectic, retro-inspired interiors. It is also a fun present for a friend who has just opened a restaurant or simply loves to host.
