Description
Description
Plant shelfie goals, without the watering: this midcentury plant shelves art print shows a quirky collection of potted plants lined up on minimalist shelves. Flat colours of orange, green, white, black and red give it a warm retro look, making it boho botanical wall art with a midcentury modern twist.
Each plant has its own little personality, from spiky succulents to leafy trailers, illustrated in a playful yet sophisticated style. The flat colour and simple shapes feel very sixties, but the overall look is fresh and modern. It is a great way to add greenery and personality to a room in one go.
Styling it
It suits almost any room: the living room, a bedroom, the hallway, a bathroom, the kitchen and dining area or a home office. Hang it near real plants to create a fun echo, or pair it with teak furniture, orange accents and other midcentury prints. It also works in a gallery wall with botanical illustrations and abstracts. Choose it unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame; light wood complements the retro palette nicely.
An ideal gift for plant lovers, midcentury design fans and anyone who just bought their first monstera. It also makes a fun housewarming present for a friend furnishing a flat with vintage finds.
