Description
Description
Bonjour, pastry lovers. This pain au chocolat art print pairs a beautifully illustrated French pastry, all golden layers and warm tones, with the brilliantly honest line "I DO NOT SPEAK FRENCH EXCEPT PAIN AU CHOCOLAT". It's a witty French food print that sums up a holiday vocabulary many of us share.
The design is clean and minimal, with crisp black lettering and rich browns on an ivory background, so it feels stylish rather than gimmicky. It's a lovely blend of food illustration and dry humour, and it might just send you off in search of a bakery. If you're looking for funny kitchen wall art or a minimalist food poster with a smile, this one's a winner.
Kitchen and dining ideas
Hang it above a breakfast bar, next to the coffee station or on a dining room wall where weekend brunches happen. It also brings a light-hearted touch to a living room, especially in a neutral or Scandi-style space. Pair it with its fellow food quote prints, café posters or simple monochrome typography for a fun, cohesive look.
It comes unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame. It's a charming gift for foodies, keen home bakers, Francophiles, or anyone who returned from Paris with only one useful phrase. Perfect for housewarmings, too.
