Description
Description
The post has arrived, with a roar. This whimsical lion postman art print, painted in a vibrant Van Gogh style, features a majestic lion dressed as a classic French postman, complete with a "POSTES" cap and a smart blue uniform, framed by swirling sunflowers and irises.
The lion's piercing blue eyes and colourful mane leap out from the rich, painterly textures, blending animal grandeur with a playful homage to art history. Yellows, greens, blues and browns swirl together in bold brushwork, making it striking, unusual and full of charm. Perfect for anyone seeking Van Gogh inspired prints, quirky lion wall art or eclectic animal portraits.
Where it makes an entrance
Hang it in a hallway so it greets every guest, in a living room as a characterful focal point, or in a home office to spark conversation on video calls. It loves rich jewel-toned walls, antique frames, gallery-style groupings and other painterly animal portraits, and it adds a touch of wit to more traditional interiors too.
It comes unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame. It's a fantastic gift for art history fans, Van Gogh lovers, animal enthusiasts, or a postal worker with a great sense of humour. Majestic, eccentric and utterly unforgettable.
