Antlers, blooms and a dash of aristocratic swagger. This Regency stag art print presents a noble stag regally dressed in floral-inspired attire, holding a petite, colourful bouquet as though about to attend the grandest ball of the season. It's a delightful twist on classic stag wall art.

The painted portrait is full of warmth, with rich reds and golden yellows set against jet black and a vibrant mix of colour. There's a lovely balance between the majesty you'd expect from a stag and the whimsy of seeing one so beautifully dressed. The vintage, classical style nods to old ancestral portraits, but the playful spirit makes it feel thoroughly modern.

Making an entrance

This print is a natural fit for the living room, especially above a fireplace, a console table or a comfy armchair. Hang it in the hallway to make a confident first impression, or bring a little old-world charm to a bedroom with a romantic, eclectic scheme. It pairs well with tartan throws, dark wood furniture, antique brass and other Regency animal portraits for a characterful country house look.

It's a wonderful gift for nature lovers, fans of Scottish Highlands style, history buffs and anyone with a taste for the unusual. A lovely present for a dad, a stag do memento or a housewarming gift for a cosy cottage. Choose it unframed or in a black, white or light wood frame.
